Train Ride

Last Saturday Kayleigh and I took the train from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Kayleigh LOVED it! On the way to the stockyards the train was held up! We had several cowboys ride up on their horses firing their guns and telling us to put our hands up and to give them all of our money. Kayleigh told me to give them my purse! It was funny! The kids got money and badges from the bandits. Nice surprise and fun too! When we got to the stockyards the clouds started rolling in, we were in the middle of main street when we just got drenched, thank goodness mr. security guard on the golf cart picked us up and took us back down mainstreet to the covered area! So, we shopped while it rained. No, we did NOT buy the pink cowgirl hat in the pictures, but we do own a pink guitar that she threw a fit to have. Kayleigh LOVES her pink guitar and has even taken it over to her daddys the past few time so they can play their guitars together. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of that, but maybe I can get a few. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the herd of cattle come down mainstreet due to the weather, but don't worry, we are going back in a couple of weeks with some friends, so we will have pictures then!
