Dallas Arboretum

Kayleigh and I went to the Dallas Arboretum at the beginning of April and we met Holly with Chunky Monkey Photography out there, it was about 40 degrees the morning we took these pictures. Kayleigh and I were both cold, but we got the mission accomplished with a little bribing of a Hello Kitty camera! Enjoy!

Easter Eggs!

Kayleigh died Easter eggs on Thursday and had a blast! We were wearing the dye as well, not as fun, but I did discover that a little oxyclean and water will work miracles! By the way, for allthe Jennifers out there, Kayleigh is wearing a purple sticker on her forhead, that she just had to wear. We dyed our eggs with believe it or not, a Hello Kitty Egg Dying kit. Enjoy!

Kayleigh and the bunnies . . .

After taking pictures at the Arboretum on Sunday, we headed to North Park Mall to take more pictures, but this time with live bunnies. Kayleigh was beyond tired at this point and hungry, but we still managed to get a few cuties.

Crusin . . .

Kayleigh woke up Saturday morning talking about Saylers jeep and how she wants one. Well, this is one a few times that she has asked and it was delievered. The neighborhood was having a garage sale and a man down the street was selling his grandchilds Barbie jeep b/c she would never ride it. I bought it, loaded in the back of the 4Runner told Kayleigh she couldn't ride it until we ate, then we spent the WHOLE day outside riding the jeep. We are working on the steering, but she absolutely LOVES her jeep. Enjoy! PS - in the pictures where she is standing up, dancing, etc. the jeep is not moving. The jeep has a built in radio, so she was dancing in her new jeep.

Soccer Tots!

Kayleigh enjoys soccer tots when she is not tired! Ha! Sunday was not a good day for soccer, she laid down on the ground, would not listen to Coach Mike and when a little boy came and attempted to kick her soccer ball, she looked at him and got that crinkled up mean face and said "Hey that is my ball you STUPID boy, Damn it!" I had to pull her to the side and get onto her which made it even worse! Well, Grandma and Grandpa decided to show up and Kayleigh was DONE then! So, Grandpa and I switched places and I took a few not so good pictures during the last 15 minutes of the class. Ugggggggggggggggggggggh!

Birthday Party - Aerial style!

I picked Kayleigh up from Kyles for a few hours on Saturday so we could go to her cousins 4th birthday party! Kayleigh had a blast as well as all of the other little girls. Kayleigh got to play dress up, put on make up, heels, earrings, play games, put sprinkles in her icecream, eat the icing off of her cupcake and get some really awesome goodies, including the princess crown! Kayleigh ha a blast and Aerial liked Kayleigh and Kayleigh liked her soooo much that when she was hugging her good-bye, she called Aerial a window licker! Umm, I guess it could be worse, but we are working on the name calling.

Bluebonnets

I took Kayleigh to go and view the bluebonnets on Thursday, I was hoping to get some good pictures and as you can see I didn't. The only time I could get the tired little girl to smile was when an airplane flew over, which as you can see in one of the pictures, she is pointing up at. Other than that, it was just running through the damp bluebonnets. I will have to try this again! I did get her to smile when we were in the drive thru at Braums getting icecream! By the way, she threw a fit when I tried to get her to change her shoes, she said "No mom, I want to wear the yellow shoes!" Well, that is why the shoes don't match!
