It's Raining, It's Pouring . . .

Kayleigh has been wanting a Hello Kitty umbrella for quite some time now, I told her that is she would start using the potty, then she could have the Hello Kitty umbrella. Well, she has been going #1 in the potty for almost a week and doing a #2 only when she has too! Well, yesterday she went and did both events! Kayleigh was VERY excited as well as I was, so I gave her the Hello Kitty umbrella! It was raining so she wanted to go outside and test it out, yes she is wearing Hello Kitty rain boots, Hello Kitty panties and sporting the new umbrella. Now, even better than what happened yesterday . . . TODAY, Kayleigh went #2 in the potty 4 times! Yeah Kayleigh, I guess going several days of holding it in because she did not want to do it in the potty finally caught up with her.

Kayleigh UPDATE . . .

Here is a quick update on what has been going on with Kayleigh. . .
We are now going POTTY! Kayleigh told me tonight that diapers are for babies as she threw a fit because I put a diaper on her to sleep. Well, YES, she has been going pee pee and poo poo in the potty, but I am not ready to free her from the diaper completely, we will get their soon, but not yet.

Kayleigh LOVES sports, swimming, riding her bike, blowing bubbles, swinging, going to the park, playing with her friends, getting her nails done (yes I take her and we have a great time!, coloring, playing with her dolls, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (still), Calliou (some whiny kid cartoon), talking on the phone, listening to her iPod, going shopping, washing the car, riding Lucky like a horse, her art class, ICE CREAM SANDWICHES from Braums, Pizza picnics, stickers, ANYTHING outdoors, SHOES! Yes, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said "pennies, nickles and lots of new shoes mommy." I believe she gets the shoe deal from her brother, Ian! ;),talking on the cell phone, pretending like she is texting on the cell phone, books - she LOVES to read books, counting the pennies as she and Grandpa put them in her piggy bank, m&ms, sweetarts, skittles, lemonade, and much, much more. I can't believe that in basically a month, my little girl is going to be three and will be going to school next year! Yes, Kayleigh will being going to Plano West, in their preschool program.

Take ME out to the BALLGAME

Kayleigh and I went and watched Fred (from Grainger), his son play in a tournament over at Plano East. Well, by the time we got there, I think it was already in the 6th inning. I could not get Kayleigh to leave the house until she found her glove, ball and her baseball hat. Here are some of the pictures that I took on the way to the game! Kayleigh even cheered for David, should have brought my camera to the game, because it was cute!!

Dallas Zoo

Kayleigh and I met Gina, Coby, Sarah and Leah at the Zoo last weekend (it was HOT)! Believe it or not, I did not go picture crazy! Here are the only pictures that I took. I had to take the picture of the turtle because Kayleigh said it looked like Grandpa to her! I got a big laugh out of that one, but Grandpa did NOT. Hmm, I guess the no hair and wrinkles is what makes her think they look alike!

Can I paint your toe nails?

Kayleigh is obsessed with painting toe nails, she askes all the time if she can paint mine and I won't let her. So, she suckered Grandpa into painting his toes and he came out with pink, black, orange, red, purple and glittery toes. I say toes, because not only did she paint his toenails, she painted his toes too!

Fourth of July

Kayleigh spent the fourth of July hanging out with her cousins during the day swimming. Then we went and watched the fireworks with Holly and Tilley.

Magic Time Machine

Kayleigh and I went to the Magic Time Machine with Gina, Sarah and Leah. The girls had a good time, however it was a chore to keep them out of the school bus! Here are some of our pictures.
