This weekend Kayleigh went to the Boo at the Zoo in Fort Worth. We went with Holly and Tilley. Tilley is the other cutie in some of the pictures. Kayleigh had a good time, we went around the zoo and went trick or treating. We got to see some of the clowns, the carved pumpkins and some of the animals, but not all of them because some of the areas were roped off, but we did get to see the monkeys and the elephants which seem to be here favorite animals at this point. Kayleigh went as Minnie Mouse and Tilley was a butterfly princess and yes, Holly made Tilley's costume.

On the road again!
Kayleigh and I headed back to Dallas today. On the way back home we stopped at Cracker Barrell, we saw GAS for $2.28 - and NO that is NOT a typo. We did NOT get gas because the line to get the gas at such a CHEAP price was about 12 gas deep in each line. So, I just took a picture of the gas price and kept on trucking. Speaking of trucks, we also passed the Brad Paisley truck, too bad we didn't see Brad!

Austin Zoo
The second half of our day consited of us going to the Austin Zoo for their Boo at the Zoo. The girls had a lot of fun! We brought flashlights to the zoo since it was dark so we could see the animals. We went on another train ride, but this time we all rode it together and it took us through the zoo where we got "scared" when gorillas, witches, martians and pirates jumped out of the woods to scare us! Kayleigh had a good time because you could actually pet the animals, well of course not the lions, tigers and bears. We got to pet the deer, donkeys, peacocks, goats and some other less aggressive animals. The girls had tons of fun at the zoo!
Old Town Hutto Days . . .
Today we went to the Old Town Hutto days for the first part of the day. Kayleigh and Sayler rode the train together and had a blast until they got out of our sight and Kayleigh flipped out! The girls had fun, especially in the bounce house!!

State Fair of Texas 2008
Today, Kayleigh and I went to the State Fair of Texas with Gina and Sarah. Kayleigh had a blast eating the FREE icecream, petting Elsie the Cow and Elsies baby, eating a FRIED Grilled Cheese Sandwich, watching the dog show, checking out all the animals and she LOVED riding the HUGE ferris wheel! This was my first time on the ferris wheel as well as Kayleighs and she wanted to ride it again! Here are some of our many pictures from our trip to the fair! We hope you enjoy!!

Dallas Child Cover Search
Saturday I took Kayleigh to Willowbend Mall for the Dallas Child cover search, which was INSANE! Some of these kids looked like they were entering into a beauty pagent with the hair, makeup, etc. Some of the parents need to learn how to dress their kids so they don't look like a two year old hooker, it was a sight to see. Anyways, this time around it was MUCH different than when we went for the Baby Dallas cover. Kayleigh had to walk to runway, smile, turn around and go back up the runway, it was cute! Here are some of our pictures from our big event AND yes, we will keep eveyone posted if we nail another cover!!

New Trick . . .
Thank YOU Shelley . . .
Shelley went to Mexico last week and brought Kayleigh back this shirt from Cozumel! Well, now I have to pretty much fight with Kayleigh b/c she wants to wear her shirt with the beads on it, she wants to wear it everywhere! As you can see in the pictures, she is having fun with her shirt and she loves twirling around and rolling around listening to all the beads cling clang around! Umm, THANKS Shelley!
Ready and waiting . . .
Thursday we were at the hosptial waiting and waiting and waiting for the newest arrival of the family to come into the world! So, Kayleigh entertained all of us by running around the waiting room, dancing, posing for pictures and looking at the babies in the nursery! Here are some of Kayleigh's bordem blues!
