Grapevine Duck Tour

After our big day at the zoo, we then headed to Grapevine and we rode on the big duck. We did the Grapevine Duck Tour and Kayleigh had a blast! Too bad she wasn't old enough to drive the boat! Kayleigh danced, cheered and most of all LOVED going into the water, especially the second trip into the water where we went in going fast and we all got wet! Quacks to you . . . Quack Quack!!

Monking Around . . .

Today Kayleigh and I went to the Fort Worth Zoo! Kayleigh LOVED the elephants, monkies and the fish. Here are some of the pictures from the first half of our day . . .

Show me the MONEY!

Tonight, Kayleigh attempted to take full advantage of the Pottery Barn sale via the internet, she looked at the dolls, chairs, etc. then when she was done shopping she did a few clicks and next thing I knew, she was starting to play a game of solitare.

Playing at the park

After Kayleigh came home from her dad's she wanted to play soccer, so after dinner we loaded up and went to the park! Kayleigh had fun playing soccer with PaPaw, rolling in the grass with Lucky and sliding on the slide.

Girls Night!

Kayleigh and I decided to have a girls night Friday night, so we iced down our milk, put it in our frosty mug and headed to watch a five star movie . . . well, we both fell asleep before our "Elmo's Potty Time" movie was over. Darn it! I woke up at some point to turn the lights out and I grabbed my camera. As you can see Kayleigh partied way too hard, staying up to maybe 9ish wiped her out. LOL!

papaw

Today we had quite the scare . . . I got a call at work from mom telling me that dad had passed out and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital! Not knowing what was going on, what happened, etc. it scared me and mom. I called Charity and Aaron who were in Austin to inform them of what had just happened. We were all worried (and still am). I just want to thank everyone that kept calling and checking on dad. What a scare! Dad was sent home from Methodist Dallas, and he is taking it somewhat easy, they ran some tests on him. The only thing that we were told was when he was put into the ambulance, his blood pressure was LOW, when he arrived at the hospital his pressure was normal. We were told that he could have gotten hot and dehydrated, but it wasn't even hot today, so I don't know. I was unable to go back and talk to the doctor or listen to what he had to say because Kayleigh was with me and they would not allow her to go back. I will keep everyone posted if something changes, news comes up, etc. Thank you everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers!! Kayleigh wanted her papaw and she has him!

New Things for ME . . .

Today Kayleigh was real big on showing me how she can ride on her little wheel (aka big wheel) and roll on the ground like Lucky does, and show off her new baby stroller, this makes THREE (no, more please). Kayleigh LOVES playing with her baby stroller and her babies and most of all ANYTHING Minnie Mouse. Here are some of the pictures I took of her today.

A day at the park

Today we met up with Kayleigh's friend Sarah and her mommy Gina at the park. We had a lot of fun. Kayleigh fed the ducks and and the squirrles. Even some of the ducks would just snap the bread out of her hand. After feeding the ducks, Kayleigh was having fun running around and sliding down the slide and running up the slide. It was a very nice day to be outside and we took full advantage of it. After the park and lunch, we headed to the outdoor mall, where we fought the crowds since it was tax free weekend. OMG, you have to really want something to wait in some of those lines! Hope all is well with everyone!! Love, Stacey and Kayleigh

Potty Time!

We did it! This evening Kayleigh came up to me and told me she wanted to tee tee in the potty! I went and got her Elmo seat and put it on and up she went, she was soo excited, she said "hey, I tee-teed in the potty!" I got all excited, we washed her hands and then I gave her a high five! I took her to Braums for some frozen yogurt to celebrate and little Miss Kayleigh had to tell everyone there that she tee-teed in the potty! I was soooo excited and so was Kayleigh. Way to go Kayleigh!!

Pretty fingers and toes . . .

Sunday I took Kayleigh with me to get a pedicure and she got one too, well not a real one, but she did get her fingers and toes painted. When she was done getting them painted she had to go up to the ladies and the nail salon and the customers and show all of them her pretty fingers and toes. The girl LOVES to have her fingers and toes painted.
